
Q. How does it work?
A. After a quick registration process, you will be given a ten digit access number. Any time you want to make a long distance call withing the lower 48 states, simply dial the access number from your registered phone*, wait for the prompt and then dial the number that you wish to call. There is no need for PIN numbers since we authenticate our members via their registered phone number. Many of our customers put their access number into the speed dial program on their phones for quicker dialing.
Q. Do I need any special equipment to use my AccessPlus service?
A. No. You do not need any special equipment or even an internet connection to make use of your AccessPlus service. Simply dial from your phone as described above.
Q. Do I need to switch from my current long distance provider?
A. No. You don't need to do anything but dial the ten digit access number provided in order to take advantage of our service. AccessPlus is not a replacement for your current phone service and will not affect any of your existing service agreements.
Q. What is the calling area?
A. You can make calls to anywhere in the lower 48 states.
Q. Can I only call at certain times?
A. You can make a call at any time of day. There are no "nights and weekends" restrictions.
Q. Are there any additional fees?
A. No. There are no cancellation fees, per minute charges, per call charges, or any other hidden charges. For one low monthly flat rate, you can call all you want*.
Q. Can anyone sign-up?
A. AccessPlus is available to any person whose phone number is within our currently available U.S. markets. Your existing number must be in one of the available states. It is not for commercial use or other usages deemed unacceptable.
Q. How long will it take after I sign up until I can use my assigned AccessPlus access number?
A. Activation time may vary slightly, but your service should be active almost immediately.
Q. Do I have to commit to a long-term contract?
A. Absolutely not. You can discontinue service anytime by emailing customer service at customerservice@apsaver.com.
Q. Will I receive a bill in the mail?
A. No, since AccessPlus is a prepaid single fee service, there are no bills. All billing is done via credit card.
Q. Does this plan cover calling to other countries?
A. No, domestic destinations in the lower 48 states are the only ones we cover at the present time, but we are constantly seeking to expand our coverage areas. Check back often to see if we have added other destinations.
Q. Does the person I'm calling have to be a AccessPlus customer?
A. No. You can call anyone, anywhere in the lower 48 states for a single low monthly fee.
Q. Can I make phone calls from any phone?
A. No. In order to offer AccessPlus service at such low prices, you can make calls from your registered phone only. Each service plan can have only one phone associated with it.
* Please note: Caller ID Blocking must be disabled in order to use the AccessPlus service. Caller ID Blocking can be disabled by contacting your phone company for instructions
